I love my yoga studio....

Derek was in the studio last Thursday taking pictures while there were only two of us in attendance for class. What a treat and what great feedback. I'm in the black pants and lavender top, Robin is in the white top and blue pants, and Randa (instructor) is the one pushing on me in down dog.

Sock progress

Look at all that....a finished pair of sock for Ryan which you may remember are the 3 years together socks....which was in September. Those green ones are for Mom which have a similar lace pattern to Mom's shawl. I think she really appreciates these knit items plus I know she will take care of them...probabaly better than I would. So that's all I've got knitting right now, the green socks. I haven't been spinning, or dyeing, or anything...so what have I been doing??

Working!?!?!? My new job with the Thirteen Mile Lamb and Wool company has kept me busy busy and tired. Standing all day is not something I'm used to and all those muscles that were atrophying which sitting at a dest for the past several years are coming back to life in a painful sort of way. Plus my wussy baby hands are taking a beating on the machines in the mill. Sounds horrible maybe but I love they physical aspect of the job. It makes me feel like I'm doing real work. Plus the yarn we are producing is so beautiful I love holding it and widing it off into skeins which is what I did alot of on Friday. So so lovely and the minimal processing leaves the yarn shining and alive. I could go on an on.....suffice it to say I'm happy and tired.

Lazy lazy lazy

I've been so lazy since getting home from Cleveland (on Dec 31...yikes that was a week and a half ago). Granted I had some sort of sleeping virus which required approximately 11 hours of sleep per day but yikes I haven't even downloaded any photos from the trip home or taken any photos of Ryan's finished socks. Blah.

I dislike intensly posts without photos so what the heck. I'm starting my weaving class this saturday so maybe I will finally put the loom to use that I bought last year. It's currently residing in our storage locker in the basement of our apartment building. How sad.
