Confession of a Type A knitter

I designed the sweater in progress in AutoCAD. No, graph paper wasn't accurate enough for my liking. I drew all the sweater pieces to scale in CAD so I could manipulate them and see how they would EXACTLY fit together. Maybe I should have titled this post confession of an Engineer turned Knitter. Either way, I might be heading down a slippery slope that involves Excel spreadsheets for the sweater instructions.

Katey! Surf is up in Santa Cruz right now! So not so much knitting lately but . . . I did read a great book I highly recommend: The Anthropology of Turquoise by Ellen Meloy. It's not an anthropology text, but it is a fascinating, quirky, and funny exploration of humans in the natural world.
Hope all is well

I like your blog too Susan! Elizabeth sent it to me. I'm such a geek with AutoCAD. I did a lot layout for my parents when they bought a lot in North Carolina to make sure the house they wanted would fit on the lot.

Susan, I mean to ask you this awhile ago. If you read this can you tell me how you got the links section to appear on the sidebar of your blog. I've tried some different things and either the font doesn't match or it shows up in the wrong place or something. Thanks.
